I don't remember who shared this a few weeks back, but it is fascinating and worth digging into for sure. Really interesting to follow the progression of creators and ideas on this film, regardless of how you feel about it. (I love it, btw).

The Revenge of the Sith influence on this opening sequence in Metroid Prime 4 is pretty strong.

Spent the last week in Amsterdam and Paris. Besides a poster for my classroom from the Ann Frank Museum, I think this is the only souvenir I bought.

We’re rewatching all of Stranger Things in anticipation of the last season and I would recommend anyone worried about Shawn Levy directing a Star Wars film to go watch the final 15 minutes or so of S4 E4. Shots, acting, edits, pacing, soundtrack are all unbelievable.

I love classic Hollywood stuff and so on one level I appreciate what the poster is shooting for. But that look has been done to death in a million very corny, low quality designs. Looks generic here. Hopefully the film can better capture that spirt they're going for with the poster.
