This pre-matte footage from "Menagerie" allows us a good look at the corner of Soundstage 10, a.k.a. the "Planet Set". If you look closely, the actress' starting mark can be seen below her feet.

"Empath" slate Part 2. "Fuller's Earth", a loose material blown into scenes in several episodes, had a habit of getting onto actor's eyes.

Original period NBC mailer from the network's New York office. The only one of these I've seen in 16 years of collecting. Wrong size for promo photos, but some TOS press materials could have gone out in these. Tentatively dated to 1969, the end of original run and beginning of syndication.

Slating the first take for Scene 153A from "Requiem For Methuselah". The alien life form at left is mildew. Thankfully only a small number of my clips are afflicted.

A contact sheet apparently struck from the larger format negatives NBC sent out from 1966-1969. Research has failed to pin down a date for the sheet, and which newspaper/magazine archive it came from. Mr. Nimoy is captured "feathering" his phaser, a habit he may have picked up working on westerns.

Another look at the "workbench". These are the long-term projects, including researching an 16mm print of "Wolf In The Fold" from 1970, the first full year of syndication, and re-assembling an alternate take of Shatner's "They're all dead?" scene from LTBYLB-fragmented in 22 small editor's rolls.

A glimpse at the workbench here at Watermark. One of three original run previews broadcast by NBC. Not the syndication-era "Next Voyage" versions we've seen on the DVD and Blu-Ray sets. Someone struck Super 8 copies in the very early 1970's, when 35mm sources could still be found. Bumpers intact.
