Two public meetings have been scheduled to discuss the CDBG-DR funds that have been allocated to Metro Nashville for long-term recovery after the March 2020 tornado. Two opportunities to join us to learn more about the proposed activities and provide comments.

The Housing and Infrastructure Study has four bills before Metro Council for second reading on Tuesday, November 4 at 6:30. You can share your feedback on these proposals with Councilmembers.

Look for us at the District 11, 12, 13, 14, and 15 Joint Community Meeting tonight at Mt. Gilead Missionary Baptist Church in Hermitage from 6–7:30 p.m. to share information on the H&I study, the current legislation implementing its recommendations, & answer your questions. While many of the roads are clear today, we do anticipate refreezing to occur overnight, so to ensure the safety of Planning staff and the public, our front counter will open with limited staff on Thursday, Feb. 20 at 9 a.m.

Out of an abundance of caution for our staff and the public, all inspections are cancelled, and in-person services are closed Wednesday, February 19 due to inclement weather. We will continue to monitor weather forecasts and road conditions for further operational decisions.
