while i was studying today i took a more loose approach when it came to heads by not going too hard with construction and using a random bobble pen i found in my mom’s room instead of pencil art studies usually stress me out, but I found this approach to be rlly insightful and relaxing. i’m glad

i started using the sketchbook i bought a while ago and honestly it’s really nice to just draw with pen and paper again instead of having my Apple Pencil glide across the screen feel like it’ll benefit me in the long run tbh

feel like the next steps in my sonic art would be: A) get better at normal character art, better understanding of human anatomy = easier to draw sonic characters B) study his in game models for a better understanding of how to draw him from all angles + better sense of space and perspective

Something I genuinely love about Frontiers is how much compassion Sonic is shown to have towards his friends in the main story You get a sense that he really does care for them without the writing overdoing it.
