Morning Cackle!

Something is wrong with my left knee. And it’s strangely related to the heat. Usually my knees get weird in the cold, not the heat. I’m trying not the favor it, as that would only make it worse.

One woman asked me if I had an interior designer come and decorate #NappyKnolls. Ha ha! Another asked me about leaving behind some of my art. I laughed nervously. It’s weird imagining strangers occupying my space.

I think something wonderful is gonna happen soon.

When you go to bed at 7 pm, you’re up at 1:30 am. 🤷‍♂️ These chores ain’t gonna do themselves!

Drinking after not having eaten for like two days is a mistake. I was just fiddling with my phone and it took me like thirty seconds to realize it was upside down.

I think we'll need to install minisplit wall units at the #VineHut for AC. There's a gigantic AC unit in the wall upstairs that scares me. We'll see if it works but it looks older than me. Until we figure it out, I have a 12K BTU window unit that could make ice cream.

I know I'm a paranoid whackjob, but I'm gonna need a secure package delivery box for the front porch at the #VineHut. I've been spoiled with a secure package delivery space for years. The #VineHut is on a busy, very visible, and heavily pedestrian street.

Another thing we discovered recently is this "flavored tube of turkey breast." They were on sale. It comes in a variety of flavors. It's a lot of meat for not a lot of money. We got two meals out of one package. And it's delicious! I'm trying to focus on eating more at home.

Learned recently that feathers evolved not for flight but for display purposes first. Because the fossil record pre-dates flight. Creatures used feathers for either mating or hunting displays for millions of years before someone started flapping and accidently became airborne. Mind blowing.
