My childhood was filled with baking sessions, eating fruits & vegetables straight from the garden, using homegrown herbs... "Homesteading" with my gran was just normal. I thrive to get back to that... And today, my first batch of homemade soap is officially ready. Best feeling in the world.

My little Paddington Bear, our brave puppy mill survivor, is turning 14 today. 🥹 When we brought him home, he was in such a bad shape... But a healthy diet, regular exercise, an annoying little brother, and lots of love made all the difference. Isn't he the cutest little bear? 🐻 #DogSky

We have a few squirrels that regularly visit our little green space. During the very hot summer days, I leave fresh water out for them & they also get the occasional seeds & squashes. Yesterday, my husband surprised me with this gorgeous mug. 🐿️ Did I need it? No. But did I NEED it? Absolutely.

My first ever batch of homemade soap. 🥹 I went with nice earthy scents: cedar & fir. Now, the 6-week waiting period begins! In the meanwhile, this can be added to the ever growing list of things that are made in my little green witch kitchen. 💚 The feeling of accomplishment is everything!
