Dropped Biology. The stress and pressure to sign up for and pass hard maths classes (our worst subject), along with many other heavy things on our overflowing plate, broke us. We decided to pursue Stage Crew/Tech in Theater Arts. Volunteer work, until we are awarded work study. Proptology, teehee~

College started yesterday. We're super busy. With all the prep work, running errands around campus, issues with housing - we're still a long way from being able to put information for products/original species up. We don't have everything we need for materials. (We also joined ESO on PC recently)

Round 2 (now with greyscale!) This is much better!! And its so much closer to our goal for the mascot. Arctic foxes change their coats between summer brown-grey and winter white. This is what we're hoping to capture since we want to bring attention to foxes and help with the conservation efforts.

I don't want anyone taking the joke too far. Now I'm uploading the REAL mascot design. Might mess with the shading a bit but I've had my fun. This is what our mascot more or less looks like for the crafting small business. No one got the joke -since we're half-Irish we were jokingly making it green

Update: For personal reasons, our Closed species only has two co-creators now. This slows down release dates and how quickly we can get the semi-related species inforgraphics and registry put together for release. Starting with our own, which we hope will be uploaded beginning on National Fox Day.

Working on more notes for our original species and happy to give this teaser: Our Closed species won't be the only one! We're working with two others on a huge collab project. All the species will share the same world and be semi-related yet distinct. We're working on some official ref sheets too

We want to gather tools, supplies and materials to start making fox merch. Faux fur, only, of course. Given that we plan on becoming involved in conservation efforts via the college degree we're working towards, we would NEVER use real fur! We find it sickening that foxes were hunted for coats. 💔

Will be combining these items into a *prototype* pastel trans flag tail as soon as we find the sewing kit and invisible thread again! (Leaving that joke up to your imaginations, teehee~) Sadly, the crafts store we were relying on went out of business before we could get all the supplies needed. 🫠

College starts soon. We're preparing for a big move closer to the campuses. Doing some gen eds through the community college before transferring to a uni. New focus is on packing and cleaning in the meantime. (As previously stated, we backed out of ArtFight for health reasons. Maybe next year? 🤷🏻‍♂️)

July/ArtFight will both be ending soon. Unable to participate due to how our health has been on a downward spiral. This happens in extreme temperatures. This is the time of year we're at our worst. If only that event was held in winter. Chronic illness, disability and sleep issues will happen again

Copyright laws are gonna be tricky if we go too far into fandom; we'd prefer to make and sell custom orders that are originals. Not supposed to make a profit but the DnD table we're planning out is a gift. That's a grey area since we're not being paid for it. (Yet we can't give much away for free)

I want to get power tools and learn woodworking. Not only woodburning (engraving stuff) but actually make my own furniture and junk. I need a dresser. My best mate needs a table. So I offered to find out how to get the supplies and make a custom job, for our DnD sessions. How cool would that be?!

Summer heat never plays kindly with the body/health issues. I DO want to work on ArtFight; struggling to leave bed most days. Working on life issues; some things aren't as high on the priority list. ArtFight comes after self care. Disappointing? Yes. Yet this is non-negotiable. I won't apologize.

Introducing the "subtle pride" based "Sugar Fox" mascot/fursuit for my online crafting business! Based on winter, cotton candy, trans pride (flag), funfetti frosting, sweets, pastels, and white opals. Also somewhat inspired by the #SnowFox (aka #ArcticFox) That's a #Therian "tattoo" on the back 🤍

Let there be NO doubt what pride flag inspired this store mascot! Working on consistency and fixing the base edit to properly show it off. Wasnt sure but to my surprise, this is working much better with the actual flag instead of the triple I attempted before. Proud of my efforts so far, yip!

Playing with the eyes while I think on how to round off the overall design. Feels like something is missing. Some kinda design on the side of the upper thigh or back. Should be small and simple, for the "subtle" pride theme. Think maybe having the star be white instead of surrounding it is better.

Getting closer to the final version, yay~! Decided to play around with the tail. Might seem a bit odd to have a mostly white "sugar fox", then a mostly blue tail...but this is my form/sona/mascot. I'll make this one how I want it to be. As long as I like it, that's what matters. More details soon

Minor edits. I'm a pastel goth. Like the idea of mascara and a black nose. Also, I still very much want contrast - but I decided to keep the overall design simple Fixed the ears. Going for a softer, "subtle" pride. Added in top surgery scars. The suit will have them. Eventually my host body, too.

Working on a fun sona edit. Lots of life changes. Got into the cafe/barista training program. Will be starting college in the Fall, not Summer quarter. Personal reasons. Been fixing things with the partner. Shop stuff is on hold for this year. Don't have the start up funds. I need to move again.

Small business plans are on an indefinite hiatus. Again... Starting college next month. In a cafe training program once a week for the foreseeable future. Also having to look for other housing opportunities and ways to continue surviving as best we can. Food costs are going up. Our income is not.

Not that I ever will but If I ever DID have an OC become popular, I would make the marketable plushie myself. I don't understand why people still go through random manufacturers or companies instead of asking plushie makers. Support small businesses and give more work to fellow creatives instead!
