I think my VR lab is getting a VR HMD upgrade. But then they told me that in September . Now they are teasing me with "the 500 dollar" one. 🙄

I was not happy when the #WithinVR app was shuttered in lieu of a Meta directed order for the creators to focus on the #SupernaturalVR workout app. But they have my attention with my workout guru #JaneFonda on the app in #VR. Jane and I worked out on VHS! My postpartum body loved Jane!

Undergraduate students went out into the North Florida community with a 360 camera and created #VRexpereinces from a nature tour to Day in the life of a sailor #VR Experiences. I did a thing. I bought flooring for my converted garage and laundry plus a recliner Sofa and sleeper chair. The Beryl room's back! And, I found a perfect throw rug to bring all the colors ( teal and grey) together! Now to find wallpaper for parts of the laundry. Did I mention I'm off till December?

I just found out that the Research Technology Services at my University, has been using the Virtual Learning Center's Matterport Camera to make virtual tours! And you can see them in VR! At least they have the little web VR icon. #academicVR #VR UNF.edu/its/RTS/virtual-tours.html

I work in an Academic Library with a Virtual Learning Center. We have 16 HTC Vive Pro Eyes and 15 Meta Quest 2s. About to hit currency with new computers and Meta Quest 3 or 3S's! I teach instruction in the VLC using VR. We also created an Web-based AR A/V experience. Anyone else out there like me?
