I love being a member, and I love each new newsletter — and getting a book now as well is just icing on the cake.

The game that had me the most interested from yesterday’s Indie World showcase was Minishoot’ Adventures, and so I picked it up and I’m really digging it. Basically a combo of two of my favourite things: Zelda and shmups.

I always try to take in a few demos during Steam’s Next Fest, and so here’s what I played this time around (all played on my Steam Deck).

This looked really interesting, so not only did I pick up this issue 7, I also picked up a bundle of the first six issues (which are also on sale right now).

I’ve been dealing with a health situation over the past 2-3 weeks, and the following games have helped keep me sane during this time (as well as watching tons of movies, which I’ll share in a separate thread).

Finally got around to reading The Knives — the latest Criminal book — and it really is a terrific read. Can’t recommend it enough.

Over the past couple of weeks I’ve been making my way through The Righteous Gemstones (on season 3 now), and I love it so goddamn much. How did I not watch it when it was coming out?
