Since this place is open to the public now, I might actually start using it. There will be a little more behind the scenes stuff here so yea. Starting with the previous and new design for Baltoth!

As he suggested that, I also said to rework barons arms into that idea, making them superficially chicken like with added green weebing and quills to give a more reptilian bird look. This was what he ended with, which I colored. The arms were a wip, and I ended up giving them an extra finger (3/4)

So I basically set out to take more from its established inspirations, roosters especially. With added colors pulled from them to help add more color variety and visual interest to an honestly pretty bland palette. This is where @/droolalopagus.bsky.social suggested injecting some cockatrice(2/?)

Barons face lift. Done due to Baron feeling really simple and me honestly being more unhappy with certain aspects of the design over time. Baron was and is meant to be simple, it's by design, but we felt like that was actively hurting it, it was *too* simple, and the render did not help (1/?)
