Ok, I was out of comics from '96-'22, but when did cover art become so boring? Here we have 2 very similar covers, 19 years apart. Neither hint at anything with the story, and also, both by the same artist... the great JRJR. Terrific art, don't get wrong, but what happened with teasing the story?

New comic snag! A little beat up, and has the back cover stamp cut out, but for $2, I have zero complaints.

It's funny and annoying. I was collecting Batman at this time, but very sporadically, so I missed this issue at the time. Honestly, I knew nothing about it until I got back into comics in 2022. Anyway, I have it now, and am pleased. May crack that slab at some point, though.....
