I'll be the first to admit that I do not agree with the majority of what MTG practices or preaches; Nonetheless, it's good to see her holding her party leaders accountable. No party is a monolith and EVERY. SINGLE. ELECTED. OFFICIAL. is responsible first and foremost to their constituents.

It's not just a violation of the Hatch Act, it's blatant disinformation. Democrats are not trying to get healthcare subsidies for "illegals." Democrats don't want the healthcare subsidies from Covid to expire. WNC needs these subsidies.

Trump withholding essential funding for our public schools is truly heartless. I had a lot of conversations with folks last weekend in Cherokee County about how we need to be doing MORE for our teachers and students, not less. We gotta be paying our teachers well and fully funding schools.

My heart goes out to TX during these floods. These were preventable deaths because of Trump's cuts. We're sadly gonna see more disasters since they just cut NOAA's budget 30% and are leaving essential experienced staff positions nationwide empty in the name of "efficiency".

Trump withholding $7B in school funding IN ADDITION to millions more in proposed cuts to Education shows exactly how little he cares about the people of NC. This will cause immense harm to children and families on a level that can't be understated. And the Republicans in Congress are doing nothing.

Trump's attack on Iran this weekend is at best unconstitutional, at worst dangerous. The diplomatic & economic impacts of his actions in the Middle East will have far-reaching consequences for the US—the last thing Americans want or need is yet another unending war. How does this help lower prices?
