The captain perks up from where he's been doing whatever, "Oh! Hammock! You're far from home... did you get lost?"

Luffy gives a soft noise, hands turning for the ladybug, Lily, to crawl as she pleases, "Nah... beetles, yes. Bugs... eh.. not all bugs are as cool as beetles. Usopp probably knows more of other bugs, if you need to know, yeah?" He still keeps attached against Robin's side, snuggling quietly now ++

It really does help. The touch, the contact. Even from someone not of his crew, but trusted enough. It helps. Touch starved, desperate to cling to those he cared for, willing to thrown down and fight literally the world for his precious people, but bound by this. Simple interactions. Simple ++

Needy, greedy, leaning into the touches as a man starved for them. For the contact and affection and just everything and anything. "...couldn't find anyone." It comes out more distress than he intended, but it's the truth! It had been so, oddly stressful at not being able to instantly pick up on ++

No hesitation to lean in and pepper kisses over Zoro's face, anything to try and get across how important the swordsman was. He'd settle then, clinging and resting on Zoro's shoulder on the blind side, half because the gentle noises of his earrings were calming and half in an unspoken habit that ++

Void-like eyes blink, turning to Law and scooting himself closer like an inch-worm. Those rubbery arms unwinding, but hesitating of all things to tangle around the other captain and instead bunch back up in his own shirt as they tremble. "...hurts, Torao... I can't find anyone..."

Oh... he didn't realize what he was missing was so close by. Void-like dark eyes turn up at the voice, glassy with unshed tears. No hop for food, but a hop for the person, tripping twice and attaching around Sanji's waist to hide in her belly with a sniffle.

He's all wet sniffles and rolling around where he's at. A hand going to his scarred chest over and over, scratching and picking when he knows he shouldn't. Arms eventually wrap around himself three to four times in hopes of hugging away this feeling.

"...it hurts so much to be alone." Luffy confesses into the holes of that helm, unable to see inside, but liking the quiet secrets that can be passed back and forth like this. It has it's own charm in some strange way. Fingers tap gentle, moving slow and tracing the stripes as he slowly centers ++

A bristling, a frustration... a fear. It rouses it's head in the form of tiny, sharp, little teeth that bite over fabric into Zoro's shoulder with a feral little growl as Luffy's body trembles and sobs more. It's not enough to draw blood. Enough to hurt, but not damage the swordsman. Sharp and ++

The affection is soaked up with a gentle squeeze to Robin in return. His nakama were everything to him. Everything. He'd throw down for every and any single one of them. A family he'd somehow managed to cobble together with luck and persistence. "...Lily likes aphids. Or lettuce. Coccinellidae ++

"'S always painful." Luffy pouts back but shamelessly leans into the hand, leeching anything he can get from it. "Being alone is the worst thing ever, Torao."

Killer isn't nakama. He's Gizao's nakama. Still... It's good energy either way. That odd aura, so like Zoro, that calls Luffy to crawl over the man and wrap around that helm to whisper secrets through it. That was fun. "Ne... Kira... what do you do when you miss Gizao and can't find him?"

"What are good flower names?" He muses back in a great impression of an indoor voice; though he's more into soaking up the contact and affection that came with just being close. Luffy's cheek squishes against Robin's arm, but he's thankfully, not wiping his nose on her. "Uh... Lily?"

Hands scramble over his own chest, over the mass of scarring as Luffy blinks just enough for tears to escape. Not outright bawling his eyes out, but something deeper. "...in here... hurts. Can't find anyone and it hurts. 'S dumb. But still hurts."

A perfect invitation. He's rough, not needing to be gentle, elbows and hands and knees as he purposely worms into Zoro's lap and clings to the swordsman. He knows Zoro won't make a sound about the loud sniffling or the wet spot of tears he's leaving on his shoulder. "...couldn't find you."

A wet sniffle, trying to hold himself together as rubber arms haul himself up and closer. He's gentle, oh, oh so gentle in smushing into her side and wrapping arms (just once, normally) around Robin's waist. "...what's her name?"

A wobbly, little wiggling of his lips. He's trying to hold himself together and he's not even sure why he's in a mood like this. "...Torao... it hurts..."

Sprawled out with a huffing breath and a pout. ...he misses everyone.

A looong stare of dark eyes, pouting back at her. ... ...Luffy just turns his back and that hand is back up once more. What you can't see can't hurt you, right? "Got it! 𝘚𝘩𝘪𝘴𝘩𝘪𝘴𝘩𝘪!" Said booger is flicked away at least as he grins.

"Grrr!" Bite bite bite! Leaving little marks in Ace's skin as they tussle. Those hands, sneaky and going for overpowered spots both get Luffy to let go and to squeal loudly. The crackers go all over the place as legs kick and Luffy wails a cackling laugh to the sky, ticklish, and trying to just ++

Of course he never noticed, why would he? Ace wasn't 'dangerous' at all so why would even Haki pick up on his brother. It doesn't stop Luffy's strained noises though, squirming and trying to play keep away. "It's MINE! Ace!" Teeth try to bite at arms to ward off the older. "Jiji still eats them!"

That hand drops instantly like he's been caught with fingers in the kitchen. Toes wiggle, feeling the water catch him as he quickly steps back and dark eyes look over. "...IT'S CRUNCHY NAMIIIIIIIIII!!!! I DON'T LIKE IT!"

Sneezing obnoxiously and wiping his face on a sleeve... so many people are talking about him lately?

Has a finger shoved up his nose somewhere, toes wiggling in the sand of some island, sandals held by this other hand and staring at the waves as they keep trying to catch his toes. Playing a weird game of tag with the ocean.

Shoving a literal handful of senbei into his maw in a single bite and chewing it with chipmunk cheeks before sneezing crumbs everywhere. Someone talking about him? He's facing the other way and too distracted by food.

"Awww... boo! Not fair! Share Gizao! It's really cool so you should let me see it!" Steps are taken to follow, shuffling after and pouting at not getting to look at the cool metal arm. He's seen a few cool things Kidd could make, like Franky did, all of it sparked stars in Luffy's eyes.

Luffy's immediate response is to blow a raspberry, tongue out and fussing in disagreement, "Gizao's just jealous I bet! It's ok I can be secretive." He really can't. Food, however, proves to be the perfect distraction, shaking Luffy away from the rather sentimental conversation as he grins and ++

There's a genuine, quiet surprise as he's 𝘩𝘦𝘭𝘱𝘦𝘥 in finding a spot to sit on Killer's shoulders, giving him a new view point and a free ride and it only makes Luffy's smile bloom wider, full of teeth and gums. He knew. Completely. Without a doubt. Killer was definitely a good guy under it all ++

Luffy doesn't end up unaffected. Bouncing off Kidd's frame with a strangled noise, bouncing twice over the ground, before landing in a heap, ass over teakettle, and sprawled out. "𝘚𝘩𝘪𝘴𝘩𝘪𝘴𝘩𝘪!" Legs are kicking in mirth, grin wide and excited, "Gizao! Gizao! 𝘚𝘩𝘪𝘴𝘩𝘪𝘴𝘩𝘪𝘴𝘩𝘪..." Feet clap twice and ++

It's going to be great! ... sort of. A tongue sticking out in concentration and Luffy gets most of the polish on Zoro's nails like it should be. It really does look nice, in his opinion, to match Zoro's earrings.

"Ｇｉｚａｏ.ᐟ.ᐟ.ᐟ" It comes at max volume, shouted across the space and is the only warning the redhead will get as Luffy's already jettisoning himself in Kidd's direction for a head on collision.

Sleeping Zoro makes for the easiest target. Once his own toes are that shimmery gold, painted and pretty, Luffy's dark, void-like eyes turn. A monster on the hunt. As he butt scoots across the deck and reaches for one of Zoro's hands.

"...my grain? No! It's mine then!" Luffy pouts back with puffed out cheeks and pursed lips, grouchy because grain is food so surely it's his! ...right? "If you have a few then I want some!"

A rattling noise... before the grate of a vent comes loose and a certain captain tumbles out, smushing like play-dough onto the floor face first as he falls out of the ceiling fome somewhere on the Polar Tang. "OW!!!" He's completely unharmed.

"Hmmm?" Luffy perks up at the suggestion, how could he not? But the grin on his face and the light in dark eyes is full of muted laughter at the taller. As if wordlessly questioning if Killer can even afford to feed Luffy's kind of appetite. "𝘚𝘩𝘪𝘴𝘩𝘪𝘴𝘩𝘪! If you wanna, 'm not gonna say no!" ++

"Eh? Zoro's here?" Luffy chirps back as he perks up at the mentioned name. There's a lingering pause of thoughtfulness that's filled with an annoying popping sound from Luffy's own mouth as he thinks. A shake of head tosses all reason away in favor of starting his ascent in climbing up the ++

Sat on deck, sandals kicked aside, Luffy contorts his body to grab his own feet and pull them closer to his face. He can't remember where the small bottle came from. Either Nami's or Robin's... it was left out! But the shimmery gold polish is fun to paint onto his toes with a giggling laugh.

Luffy doesn't pounce on her, tactile as he is and much as he wants to, but the moment he's up arms are open in offering of a hug. "I should be asking you that! 𝘚𝘩𝘪𝘴𝘩𝘪𝘴𝘩𝘪! I've been okay! Good! Today's been a good day, yanno? The weather's so nice... it reminds me Foosha fishing season..."

"My-" Luffy pauses with a thoughtful frown. "...she's not my sister? Friend? Friend works! Uta! We met when we were realllly little a few times. Not quite siblings? Something like that, 𝘴𝘩𝘪𝘴𝘩𝘪𝘴𝘩𝘪!"

He's MORE than happy to finish off the sandwiches as his eyes zero in on them and fingers start fidgeting in anticipation. "...You're okay though... Robin? These are your favorite." Of course he knows his favorite people's favorite foods. Foods. Dreams. All precious to him and Luffy wasn't blind ++

Luffy's got stars in his eyes, wide and in complete awe because holy shit that's 𝘴𝘰 𝘤𝘰𝘰𝘭! Arms are thrown up in a cheer, bouncing on his toes and laughing to the sky, "Wow! Wow! Wow! Zoro is so cool!!!"

"Mmm? I guess if you wanna?" He doesn't see much issue with it? He's been called worse, after all. Granted by his own brothers, but still.
