I actually woke up before my wife for once, so I fed the pets, walked the dog, and let her sleep in. I figure I can always take three naps today.

Interesting thing though: We have been replacing our TVs about once every 6 years. We spend almost exactly the same amount, around $900-1000, and every time the TV is bigger, better, or both.

Unfit for American citizenship, this one.

Yay for a new TV! The old one was starting to fail. They just don't make TVs like they used to.

I'm barely holding it together tonight. My anxiety and depression are trying to drag me down. Fuck that.

When we were renting this place, we put down like $2200 for security and last month's rent. The rental management company went under because of massive fraud, and we got exactly $100 back even after BUYING THE FUCKING HOUSE.

I love books as physical objects almost as much as I love reading them. I have what is probably a 16 foot stack of unread books... and when I'm done reading them at least half will be donated to help literacy charities, including the Dolly Parton one.

30 years after I got this scar on my scalp, and my hairline has only receded about a half-inch. Yay for me!

Five decades on this planet, and I just realized that I've never had a single birthday party thrown on my behalf. Not one. No one has ever cared enough.

My birthday is coming up soon, can't wait for my special lunch. All of the meat, plus mashed potatoes.

I've been in bed almost the whole day. It wasn't even nice, I was just tired and hiding from adult responsibilities.

My wife has 4 more weeks off (at least) and I did a big house scrubbing, so she has no work to do. She can relax, hobbies, TV and movies, go for walks, we'll hit the zoo.

At least I know when I've forgotten my meds, because my feet hurt so bad I want to start screaming. Speaking of screaming, I'm looking for some spooky season books to read.
