I’m feeling more at peace than I have done for weeks. I’m going to be running around all weekend - literally and figuratively - but I’m actually looking forward to it all.

Run done. I hate that I have to always tackle so many hills, but it’s not a bad run.

Trying to muster every ounce of energy I have left and not being overly successful.

I want to be able to do this by the end of the summer. My challenge will be losing weight rather than getting the tan!

This weekend I have meeting minutes to type, forms to fill in and letters to write. I’ve been procrastinating so badly but they need done as the prospect is literally making me miserable.

Lordy I’m struggling today. So tired. No motivation to work. Could just fall asleep on the sofa. This has to stop!

I don’t know why but I feel the need to say something before bed. It’s been a long day, I’ve felt tired. I was late last night cos a friend gave me a sports massage and let me tell you it really hurt. My legs today have been so tender. But I’m hoping I sleep alright tonight. Okay. Goodnight.

Turns out it is six years today since I created Freddie. I don’t know how I’ve got away with it for so long. I don’t know how much longer I’ll keep going. But thank you to everyone who has supported me in that time, especially the handful of you who have lasted six years. Here’s a thank you.

Had a medal rearrange. I’m feeling reflective about Madrid. Yes, the heat was a killer, but I missed an opportunity to simply enjoy a really beautiful race. I am lucky to get to do what I do, but I prioritised success (which didn’t even happen) over fun, when it’s the latter that should matter.

I do enjoy an easy Saturday morning.
