I think KC is pretty well positioned to take best player available in round 1 this spring. Prioritize defensive line talent, man coverage beaters, defensive playmakers

For what it is worth, I think this current group is similar to 2021 (sans Hill, obviously). They have the building blocks in place if they’re willing to look hard at what they’re doing and modernize. This OL (when healthy) has four good to excellent starting blocks.

remember 2022 KC trading Hill, focusing fully on Kelce and coming back with a bargain bin at RB/WR and somehow being the most explosive offense in football? That is the type of re-orientation they MUST have if they want to compete for Super Bowls in 2026 and beyond.

Veach has got to take some of “my guys” away from Spags and Andy the same way he did in 2021. Remember Hitchens, Niemann, Sorenson, and Fenton weighing that defense down? Is that all that different from Nnadi, Conner, Edwards, Omenihu, and Danna right now?
