Just get a piece of silverware and weave it between the fingers of the hand thats doing the peeling. It gives me leverage in a way that makes peeling the plastic seal easy

Final total went from 88% of 15 GB (13.22 GB) storage space used to 40% (6 GB) used just by emptying promotions. My 80K promotion emails were 7.22 GB of my gmail account. Should be clear from getting space notifications for another 5 years or so. Farewell restaurant and travel ads from early 2020 :P

whenever gmail tries to sell me more storage space, I just go into my promotions folder select all and delete like 80K spam emails. Easily frees up like 10% of my email space lol

This is my attempt to draw my memory of seeing Jupiter for like all of two seconds on Easter. My art skills aren't great lol. But this gives the vague idea of it. I hope for better weather so I can see it again and maybe take a photo.

My telescope finder scope lost its calibration in travel. We spent two hours looking at random parts of the sky being baffled why it didn't look right. Finally at the very end I found Jupiter and it's moons when it was near a roof top by scanning along the roof edge and that's when I figured it out.

Being too focused can be kind of harmful sometimes. I often get trapped in a state of hyper focus when I decide to focus a task. Then I can't do anything else until the task is perfect. I lose track of time, might forget to eat, and sometimes get serious repetitive stress injuries that last months.

I got to use my telescope for the first time tonight. It was a full moon so it was fairly bright. But I got some good views of the moon. Check out this picture I took holding my cell phone up to the eye piece. I had some more zoomed in shots, but I thought the full view made the best photo lol.

I solved a really confusing discord issue today. Issue: Discord mods with all role permissions enabled couldn't duplicate private channels, error "lacking permissions". Figured out the issue: when you have on-boarding enabled, if a category is set to Everyone view ❌, it gets messed up.

I decided to get that telescope I had my eye on after all. Its on back order so it will be some time before it gets here. I locked in the price before tariffs hit though. Its box will struggle to fit in my car, but it should fit. I was out measuring the trunk with the seats down to make doubly sure.

I think I'm just a person with a lot of anxiety. I been through a lot. I have a hard time being relaxed most of the time tbh. It can make me hard to be around sometimes.

There's a total lunar eclipse tonight. The full moon in march is the worm moon, and a total eclipse is the blood moon. Making this a Blood Worm Moon. Its supposed to look all cool and blood red. Starts around 2:26AM Eastern and should last around 66 mins. I'd love to see photos if anyone takes some

Chrome removed the fallen london keybinds extension when it updated on my computer. Its apparently no longer supported :( Those keybinds helped me play even when my carpal tunnel was really bad and I couldn't hold a computer mouse. Farewell chrome extension, you were a real one.

The binoculars I was using to see the planets last night hadn't been used in a few years. And I didn't notice the rubber components had degraded into a fine black dust. So I looked up, and got an eye full of dust and my face looked like a chimney sweep orphan from a movie about old london lol

Star Walk 2 is a pretty good star gazing app. It uses your phones gps and camera and helps you find stars and such in the sky. Used it last night to find the planets in the planet parade. Worked great. Alas 4 planets were too low to the horizon to see and were obstructed from view.
