Emblem byleth conceptually really is one of my favorites though. Byleth as a persona protag sucks but as hortensia’s persona because of the lost happy days and need to continue anyways goes kinda hard ngl.

my toxic trait is that i will cape for baldr. but i will not cape for gullveig. i contain multitudes + baldr's design + concept just appeal to me more. half of my issue with gullveig is her design is incomprehensible (and i've had to sprite it, i can say that)

xenoblade 2 is lowkey one of the funniest games in existence by introducing an obvious bad guy named malos in ch1 and then making him a compelling villain and the final boss. bad guy named bad who's actually really interesting and tragic
