After work, I went back to @twistedballerina.bsky.social's house. I wake before daylight has broken through. I manage to shake off the nightmare and don't waste time trying to shower off the feeling. Splashing my face with some water. I then head down to the kitchen and start coffee and breakfast.

After waking up too early from a nightmare, I quietly use rag and water in the kitchen to try and clean somewhat. Quickly dressing, I quietly slip out of the room while trying not to wake @russianteddybear.bsky.social.+

The afternoon sun aggressively attacks my eyes when I wake with a start. I whimper as I yank the blanket over my head. Taking slow breaths, I realize I'm in my room and in the bed. I throw the covers away again and quickly climb out of bed. I freeze when I hear someone+

Our morning meeting moved to a dinner cause my father apparently had a thing. Standing near the hostess station at the restaurant my father chose, I fidget with the nice blouse and whisper another thanks to @gremlintrouble.bsky.social. +

@russianteddybear.bsky.social and I finally leave the hospital, after Alistair manages to bring me some clean clothes. I dodge a 72 hour hold and the police thankfully. I don't have the energy for either. They won't find anything just like the last time.+

I gasp awake as the sun is coming up, staring at the ceiling of hospital. I whisper, "no. no. no. not again." My heart starts to speed up in my chest. I wince at the burning and throbbing in my chest with each breath I take. // @russianteddybear.bsky.social

After getting the kids to school and a quick nap like most mornings, I leave Captain and Dot in the backyard and head to the nearby diner. -need breakfast. then work on homework- I settle at a booth near the back corner. I quickly order a coffee and their large breakfast platter.+
