Testing out a rikishi basho news feature. A short summary of the basho for each rikishi based on news and basho data. With links to the articles and videos.

Added a new News tab on each rikishi page. It filters and shows recent articles specifically mentioning that rikishi.

There may be too many numbers on this page now... I will be doing a pass over the site to improve the readability and ease of use (not very fun to do but even I get confused on how to use some of the features now) Again thanks for those using the feedback form and discord!!

Working on a new live view page. Displays estimate match times, the current bout, and rikishi stats all in one place. #sumo #相撲

Added elo rating system. Ratings update after every bout and are separate from the banzuke, letting you spot rikishi performing above or below their official rank. It also provides a simple expected win percentage. (Thanks Railey again for the idea and help)

Added a data page for people who want to download sumo numbers (1962-present) sumostats.com/data (older tournaments aren't 100% accurate yet.. I am still working on improving the data... please use sumodb for more correct info)

Added short kimarite descriptions tooltips (because I always forget)

Added 'sumo style' rikishi chart based on kimarite classification. Quickly see what style of sumo a rikishi prefers. (thanks to Railey from Discord for doing the hard work!)

Added accounts to sumostats.com so you can favourite rikishi. You will be able to filter the banzuke/results by your favourites and see recent activity/news about them too soon.

Added a 'recently fixed feedback' log so you can see what has been fixed and not feel like your feedback is disappearing into a blackhole. I check the feedback everyday and try to fix it asap!

Does anyone know where I can find torikumi list pdf/image/data from before 2020? I am trying to add a gyoji stats to sumostats.com!

Updated the compare page on sumostats.com. You can now see the matchup history for multiple rikishi.

Added 2250(!) videos of the 2331 matches from the May basho!! You can watch all the bouts at sumostats.com under Results and click a match in the table.
