I've been doing some practice assessments this morning for certifications. Some of the questions in the DP-700 seemed vague. I thought I'd take a look at some of the other ones for comparison. Some assessments have definitely had more effort put into their development than others.

So many of these errors in #PowerBI lately when connecting to Dataflow Gen1. It's frustrating and unproductive.

#MicrosoftFabric workarounds r us. (and no, I don't think this is a suitable workaround) I'm curious, are people using Lakehouse SQL endpoints in pipelines when building a medallion architecture? How are you dealing with potential sync issues? How are you validating the results? bit.ly/3ZvYBWS

No #MicrosoftFabric I don't want to do this and why would you ask me on a Workspace that has a #PowerBI Pro license setup? Many of our customers don't want Fabric; it's not cost-effective for them. Offer PPU licenses something if you're not going to finish the work you started with Datamarts.

Can anyone tell me where the properties of a table/query appear relating to a #PowerBI Dataflow (gen 1)? I can see the properties/description of the Dataflow when connecting in Power BI Desktop but not the individual tables/queries in the Dataflow.

I love so many things about #MicrosoftFabric and #PowerBI. A lot of my posts are critical of the products because I care. But seriously, who the hell signed off on this? A company that rebranded to green because of accessibility considerations approved this? Red on grey. Really?

This is the most useful find for me today when wanting to programmatically edit pipelines. Append '&feature.enableJsonEdit=true' on the end of the url. (I shouldn't need to say it, but, be careful and make sure you have a copy of the original JSON.)

Be careful with the new #MicrosoftFabric 'Copy job' option when using incremental refresh. This one was setup for incremental, every 15 minutes, no data was being processed. Heavy CU usage.
