Another V/H/S movie? Okay, there apparently seem to be people who actually watch these, but this must be the longest running series that nobody ever talks about. The "AVATAR has no cultural footprint" people really have to look into V/H/S's existence.

Oh shiiiit, TODD & THE BOOK OF PURE EVIL is on German Pluto TV! I did not expect to ever see this show in my part of the world again! Thankfully I bought the whole series on DVD during my last Canada trip.

Well, my rewatch of NEWS RADIO has concluded. Damn, what a great show that was. Only very few things have aged badly, not counting jokes that later became tragically prophetic due to real world stuff, like all the jokes about Bill being scared of getting murdered and Joe being a conspiracy nut.

I actually played one for real a few months ago. A local pinball club brought one to a music flea market in a mall.

Apparently I missed an announcement for a rapture and this is the first time that I really fucking hope it's gonna happen. Can't be the only one. Come on! Clap if you want the rapture to happen and end this shit! Clap! Louder! Say that you believe! Fuck all that shit on earth!

Huh, one season 4 episode of NEWS RADIO has a comedic voice actor as guest star and after googling him it turned out that it's Richard Cheese!

It is interesting that season 4 of NEWS RADIO both starts and ends with the introduction of new side characters who don't really fit in and are completely forgotten about after each four episodes. (Respectively "Planbee" and Jimmy's normal nephew Walt.)

I like the idea behind that new ANACONDA movie, but I wish there would've been one unpredictable joke in the trailer. (Admittedly comedy trailers are always worse than the movies, but still.)

I didn't want to buy any more CDs this month, but then I saw this.

People who recommend movies that they didn't like to you, because they know that you might enjoy them, are important.

It's interesting that I keep hearing stories from teenagers who discover 90s rave music because their parents give them their CD collection. But it checks out. All those kids who spent their days twitching to 150 bpm Techno in the 90s are now in their late 40s or 50 and parents.

Recently doing my yearly(ish) sorting of my movie collection and man, I miss the times when I would actually blind buy movies. No matter if block busters or classics, if it was on sale I just randomly bought it, even if I hadn't seen it before.

Would you believe that I bought 20 or so years ago a Special Edition DVD of PERDITA DURANGO that included the soundtrack on CD and I never listened to it? 0_0

It's interesting that despite what these animation guidelines from the classic KING OF THE HILL episodes say, in the new season we saw Hank give a high five and Dale lifted his shades several times.

Whoever is responsible for the playlist of the CBC Music Toronto night stream is SO FUCKING GOOD! They just played a track from Freak Power's IN DUB EP. Never heard that on the radio before! Especially not in 2025.
