(Amanda) One of my Followers lives in Japan and she told Betty about a bad situation there. A lot of wild bears have started attacking humans. Everyone is very worried about it. Betty had never heard of this so she Googled it. It is very frightening. I wonder what can be done about it?

(Amanda) Auntie Pip came yesterday and took lots of photos of me. I like this one but I never realised I had such massive eyes! Betty says they are perfect and because I am such a nosey girl I never miss a thing. I don't know if being nosey is a good thing but she said I mustn't over-think it.

(Janet) I'm so glad I moved to Colin's plot. It's very interesting here. I have my own shed just like I did on Ken's plot. Betty says a change is as good as a rest and I think I know what she means. What do you think?

(Janet) I'm so glad I moved to Colin's plot. I didn't realise how lonely I was before. He comes every morning and after he's fed me he stays and does work on the plot. I think Maurine has been going to Sammy's plot for his meals. I think he will love it there. We are both very happy cats.

(Amanda) I love having so many different places to sleep. Most of them are nice and soft, apart from the scratchy-bed of course. Betty thinks it's weird that I love the scratchy-bed. I think she would love it too if she could find a human-size one. What do you think?

Some followers came to visit and I actually stayed with them for the whole time they were there! They were so nice and made such a fuss of me, I wasn't at all shy. They brought some lovely treats for me and Janet and delicious biscuits for Betty and Colin. I really hope they come again.

(Maurine) I might be moving - to a different plot. Sammy loves cats and she wants me to start going to her plot for my meals. She is even going to put a bed there for me. So, I've got a big decision to make. Should I continue going to Janet's plot for my meals, or move to Sammy's plot?

(Janet) Things have changed since Maurine arrived. I used to take my time eating my food. Now, I know he is watching me while I eat so I try to do it quickly and eat all of it. I know this is a bit selfish of me, but Maurine has his own food and it isn't my fault if he's a quick eater.

(Amanda) The leaves are still dropping off the trees. Some humans collect them to make a thing called 'leaf-mould'. They put them in big bags and after a few months they change into compost. Compost is supposed to be very good for the soil, that's what Betty says. Have you ever made leaf-mould?

(Amanda) I'm so happy - I found the perfect bed. It's a mix of cardboard box and scratcy bed! I usually jump out of normal beds when I see Betty but I was really enjoying this one and I couldn't be bothered to get out. I love my Scratchy Box Bed!

(Amanda) More about Dorothy: I've heard that Robert really loved her but she never encouraged him. Betty says she was a real character and will never be forgotten.

(Amanda) It's 3 years today since Dorothy went to 🌈. I never met her but I've heard a lot about her. She was born at the allotments and was very naughty when she was young. So naughty that Betty named her 'Psycho'. She calmed down a lot as she got older and so her name was changed to Dorothy.

(Janet) I'm glad I moved to Colin's plot. I like watching him while he works. He understands that I'm not like Amanda and I don't need him to give me a fuss every minute. Sometimes he sits with me while I eat my meals and I like that.

(Amanda) It doesn't matter how many beds I've got - my favourite is always a cardboard box! Betty put a cushion and blanket in this one and it was perfect. I've heard that many cats prefer boxes too. Did you know that?

(Janet) When I moved to Colin's shed I thought I wouldn't see Maurine any more. I was wrong. He soon found out and now he comes for his meals there. I'm getting used to him so long as he doesn't come close to me. He eats really quickly and then watches me eat. I suppose I'll get used to it in time.

(Amanda) Auntie Sammy took this photo of me - it's good, isn't it! She always makes a big fuss of me and of course, I love it. She also feeds me because I give her a special look to tell her I'm starving, even though I've just been fed by Colin! Betty says I've trained her well.

(Amanda) Do you think that Betty will ever get fed up of taking my photo? Every time I look at her she's got the phone in her hand ready to take another one. She tells me to chill out and stop over-thinking. Then she takes more photos. Humans are very hard to understand, aren't they?

(Maurine) It looks like Janet has moved house to Colin's plot. I go to her new place for my meals now. I like to wait outside her shed while she eats and then I go and finish whatever she leaves. It's a whole new life for me here and I love it!

(Amanda) I've noticed that my right eyebrow seems to be growing back. Can you see it? There are only two hairs at the moment but I'm confident there will be more soon. Betty says that some humans have massive eyebrows. Lucky humans!

(Amanda) I checked out the Big Greenhouse yesterday. There are only a few chilli plants in there now, but they will be gone soon. Some humans love to eat chillies but many don't. Apparently they make humans' mouths burn when they eat them. I think that's really silly. Would you do it?

(Amanda) Auntie Susie sent Betty this photo of dear Barbara. She thinks it would be good for #ThrowbackThursday We all miss Barbs so much. He was such a kind boy and even though I was a bit naughty with him he was always nice to me. We have so many happy memories of him.

(Maurine) Do you mind if I tell you a bit about myself? I wandered into the allotments about a month ago and I really like it here. I've learned that Colin feeds Janet and Amanda so I make sure he sees me and feeds me too. He seems okay, so I might let him stroke me one day.

Betty explained that I do the same things and that's called a routine. She said that some of my routine things are good, like going to Colin for a fuss. Some not so good, like scratching the car tyres. These make me happy - surely Betty would rather have a happy cat even if tyres get scratched.

(Amanda) Look what someone gave me! I didn't want to go in it at first but then Betty put some Dreamies inside. That helped a lot! It was so soft and comfortable and I loved it even more than my scratchy bed. It's good to try new things, isn't it?

(Amanda) The leaves are still coming off the trees but that's normal for this time of year, isn't it? I don't understand why the leaves change colour though but I'm not going to worry about it. I'll leave the worrying to the humans, cats have better things to do, don't we?

(Amanda) Sometimes I think about how I felt when I first arrived at the allotments. I was quite scared to begin with and kept away from the humans. After a short time I realised that I would be happy here. I was given regular meals and regular fuss, what more could I want?

(Amanda) There's something special about Auntie Rachel's car. The seat is quite high up and I have a good view of everything. I've never been in it when it was moving but I think I'd like that too. Betty doesn't know that and I'm not going to tell her. What do you think she would say if she knew?

(Janet) You'll never guess what I did yesterday - I followed Colin to the Memorial Garden! I've been before, but always on my own at night when no humans are around. Colin was so happy that I went with him, I'll have to do it more often.

(Amanda) I've told you before that Betty says some weird things. She said this photo makes it look like I am 'on the prowl'. There are too many words for me to learn and I just can't be bothered. The main thing is that she says she loves me, and I certainly understand that!

(Amanda) Betty is very impressed that my claws can go in and out. She told me that dogs can't do that, their claws are called 'nails' and they are always out. This is something I've never thought about before. Betty has weird thoughts sometimes.

(Amanda) Betty and Colin's friends came to visit and they brought their cat with them! He is only a baby and they kept him on a lead the whole time. I took one look at him and ran off to hide. I know he looks very cute but I have bad memories of being chased and I didn't want to risk it.

(Amanda) I can't stop eating. Ever since I got locked in the garage all I want to do is eat. Colin gave me my supper and when Auntie Sammy came she gave me another one. I ate them both of course. I know they feel sorry for me so I'm making the most of it. Do you blame me?

(Amanda) Maurine came into the veranda yesterday. He didn't seem bothered that Colin and I were both there, he was only interested in food. I don't mind that, so long as he leaves me alone and doesn't chase me. It might be nice to have a new friend, what do you think?

(Janet) I think Maurine has decided to stay with us. He seems to be there every day now near my plot. He's worked out that Colin brings my breakfast and he wants some too. I don't mind, I suppose I'll get used to him in time. Auntie Rachel saw him inside the veranda. What did Amanda think of that?

(Amanda) You'll never guess what happened to me! I noticed that the garage door was open so I went in to see what it was like. Then the door closed and I was locked in. When Colin came to feed me yesterday he saw that I hadn't eaten my food from the day before and he knew something was wrong.

(Amanda) On Saturday some of the humans had a thing called a 'Coffee Morning'. About 20 of them sat in the veranda and talked to each other. They seemed to enjoy it. I went too, just to see what it was like. It was ok and some of the humans made a fuss of me but it wasn't really my sort of thing.

(Amanda) If you look closely you can see that one of my eyebrows have disappeared. I don't kNow what happened, one day it was there and the next day it had gone. Betty says I'm over-thinking things again. How would she feel if one of her eyebrows dropped off?

(Amanda) What do you think about these flowers in the Memorial Garden? They don't have that special Nip smell but the humans don't seem to care about that. I suppose it's good that we don't all like the same things. Betty says I'm getting very wise. Is being wise a good thing?

(Amanda) Betty and Colin's son took this photo of the new cat. Betty still hasn't seen it but she's been thinking of a name for it. She likes the name Maurine. She thinks it doesn't matter if the cat is a boy and she gives it a girl's name. (Sweet Barbs was a boy and it didn't bother him).

(Amanda) I don't understand why I am so big and Robert is so tiny in this photo. I've heard that he was actually a bit bigger than me so why is he so small in the photo? Can photos change our size? Betty told me it's called 'perspective' but I think she was joking. What do you think?

(Amanda) I love sitting in Auntie Rachel's car! It's so clean and tidy - not like Colin's car which looks more like a shed than a car. The main thing is that it gets him here to the allotments and I don't miss my meals. Betty says he's got his priorities right. Another weird word!

(Amanda) I never met dear Robert but I've heard so much about him. He was friendly with everyone, even total strangers. Not many cats are like that, are they? Betty says that I'm getting more confident but I've got a long way to go. Go where? I'm happy here and I'm not planning to go anywhere.

(Amanda) I think Betty was quite impressed with my balancing skills. She told me I was a clever girl and that I should be in a circus. I haven't got a clue what a circus is but I'm sure she was joking. She gets some weird ideas sometimes.

(Janet) I haven't seen the new cat since that day when Colin gave it some breakfast. I know it's still around because I've heard that Amanda and some of the humans have seen it. At the moment it seems quite shy. Even though I was born at the allotments, I I totally understand what that feels like.

(Amanda) Betty thought it would be nice to have a photo of me on this picnic table. I disagreed. I usually go along with wherever she wants to take a photo but sometimes I can't be bothered. I think she could share exactly the same photo of me every day and nobody would notice.I'm right, aren't I?

(Janet) Today it's Red Fred's 🌈anniversary. He looked after E.T. and helped her to walk. She was disabled and would fall over if he wasn't at her side. He missed her so much when she went to 🌈and he followed her there only a month later He will always be missed. R.I.P. sweet boy.

(Amanda) I knew there was a new cat around but I actually saw it yesterday. It didn't try to chase me, thank goodness. I hope it's as kind as Barbs was. If it decides to move in with us then Betty will have to choose a name for it. That should be fun!

(Amanda) Betty wants me to show you these weird things that Colin grew. I don't think anyone will be interested but I don't want to upset her so I'm showing you anyway. They're called Sweet Peppers and Colin has picked over a hundred of them. So funny how humans like eating strange things, isn't it?

(Amanda) Betty said my dream(ies) came true! A very kind follower sent these for Janet and me. Betty often tells us that we have the best followers on twitter . Some of you send us things and many read and comment about us every day. We feel like we are part of a big family and we love it!
