A historic declaration of friendship between the Scottish Episcopal Church and the Catholic Church in Scotland has been signed in Edinburgh, allowing them to work more closely together in future.

Tomorrow's 5:30pm Choral Evensong is a special one: it includes the signing of the St Ninian Declaration, supporting a deepening relationship between Episcopalians and Roman Catholics in Scotland. There will also be a symposium at 2pm at St Mary's Catholic Cathedral, and a first signing at 4pm.

Looking ahead to the Festival at St Mary's - our big exhibition is by Edward Bruce and Nick O'Neill (aaltspace architects). In 'Ringing the Changes', he has woven two banners which will hang down from the central tower space. It's going to be spectacular, and we can't wait to share it with you!

Tomorrow is the choir's final service of the term. They're going out with a bang, with music by Jonathan Dove, Stanford and Howells, and finally Britten's Te Deum (We Praise Thee). All welcome to come along, hear them and worship with us. And good luck too for their trip to Durham Cathedral today!

Last week, our Vice-Provost Marion took the UK AIDS Memorial Quilt that we keep (on behalf of Milestone House) to the exhibition at the Tate Modern's Turbine Hall in London. We were honoured to play a small part in this huge remembering.

Tonight is our service for Corpus Christi, the Body of Christ. This is the day when we reflect on, and give thanks for, the the Eucharist, with the choir singing Jonathan Dove's Missa Brevis and Messiaen's exquisite choral miniature O sacrum convivium (O sacred feast). At 5:30pm.

The Cathedral Choir are nearly at the end of term! But before they finish, they are travelling to @durhamcathedral.bsky.social, to sing a joint evensong with Durham Cathedral Choir on Saturday 21st June, 4:30pm. Do come along if you're in the area!
