As a lifelong fan of the X-Men and collector of comic sketch art/commissions, I jump at the chance to add legendary creators to my private collection. So, when the chance to get a piece done by Jim Starlin came up - how could I pass on that? Enter, The Stranger - who first appeared in X-Men #11!

Super excited to add this dual page spread (22x17) by Emil Cabaltierra! Inspired by the epic battle between the X-Men and the Imperial Guard from X-Men #137, this mixed media piece beautifully captures one of the most influential eras of my comic collecting experience: The Dark Phoenix Saga.

Got a new piece of comic sketch art done! I snatched this 11x17 Polaris with pencils by Mitch Foust a few years ago off eBay, and recently scanned it in for @coreyking.bsky.social to ink up a blue-line of it before having @stevecanon.bsky.social color it up! Couldn't be happier with the results!🤩
