I just wanted to boil water for tea, but apparently there was some kind of rubber gasket on the burner that I didn't notice when I set the kettle down and now I have lungs full of burning platic smell. Caught it before a fire or total destruction of the burner at least.

My favorite video game ever is getting further ports, yay! I should stream it sometime.

Finally ordered the rest of the fabrics for the baby quilt as I'm like 4-5 hours of work away from needing them lol. But they may not arrive for like 2 weeks. Whoops.

Yesterday I discovered a fanfiction I had been really in to updated after a very long hiatus. Author realled showed back up after all this time to kill off a couple beloved characters and now I have to feel feelings 😭.

Just seen the most disgusting fucking social media video from my local police department. "Does he hold the door for you? We do!" and a staged shot of an officer shoving a woman into the back of his car and then other such bullshit. The police do not need to advertise! And this shit isn't cute.

So my mom kept like all of my report cards from Kindergarten to 2nd grade, and I went through them before throwing them out recently. A lot of clearly stamped on "pleasure to have in class" as the ONLY comment. I think they only had certain responses they could use.

This is a blanket that was made for me when I was a baby. I don't actually have memories of it, but it was put back in my possession recently, and I actually really dig the print on this fabric. I'm planning to upcycle into a project bag so I can appreciate it in a new form.

We had this big CD binder that's made it through 3 moves with us. Yesterday I found out my husband thought it was mine and I was like, "No...that's yours???" Just one of those things we both assumed belonged to the other person.

Just turned to my husband and said, "Who would win in a fight, The Wheel of Time or Wheel of Fortune?" He hits me with, "Well, from what I understand, there is no Wheel of Time in those books, so Wheel of Fortune." It was a joke, not a real question 😭 I wanted a laugh 🤣.

I once again watched something I thought was a very cool premise, but it turned out I was too invested in the physical reality of the premise when the media was actually only interested in emotions so I am once again unsatisfied. Am I broken y'all? LOL.

Thanks to a generous donation, I have been able to make my payment to my university and a lot of stress is off my shoulders (albeit temporarily). Anything else given will help me survive while working on my final MSc project 💙

My back has been angry today and I'm not sure what I did. It was probably juggling practice last night but which move? Lol.

Just did the math in my head and realized I've technically been contact juggling for almost 20 years....if I'd actually practiced even weekly in all that time I would probably be pretty good at it! 🤣

Noticing all the scuffs on The Amazing Kenny's Fushigis actually makes me feel a smidge better that I just scuffed one of my beautiful new balls. I was trying to train my hands to do 2 different things at the same time, which I am historically very bad at. Thanks Kenny!

Told my dad if he ever didn't want his set of Wheel of Time, I would be upset if it went to anyone but me. Brought them home today. My dad is basically gutting his house so I enede up with a lot more than this, but I've been reminding him I want these for years.

I'm actually really happy for him that the books he clearly hated writing made him enough money to be able to stop writing them.

My husband and I have had the Castle Ravenloft board game for a long time, but only played it for the fist time last night. I got hung up on the difference between "adjacent" and "within one tile" and made things draw out for a couple hours, oops.

Feels like none of the theme park "news" channels are digging enough to know that the two companies that were licensed to make a certain IP's mascots for decades went out of business. It effects the current situation enough to warrant mention. But I'm stuck being vague about it to cover my own ass.

Only thing I cared about was that Dragon Quest Monsters announcement. I got zero hype for where Kingdom Hearts seems to be going.

My husband bought heavy whipping cream for a meal he made us over the weekend. So now I have flavored whipped cream on my coffee today.
