New Necromunda campaign is starting up at my lgs, and I remembered I had some old kitbashes, from when I watched Fury Road too many times, and decided to clean them up a bit and paint them to run as Goliaths. Still have the Leader and a Stimmer left to paint after this.

Finally got around to making some minis for a game I've been very interested in checking out, Zona Alfa. Kitbashed some Stalkers from the Stargrave Scavengers kit and some bits from Anvil Industries and Mad Robot Minis.

Finished painting a lance of mechs for Battletech. I really liked the color scheme of the mechs on the 40th anniversary covers of the Beginner Box and AGOAC sets so I'm painting a merc company in a similar scheme.

Finished the final pair of mechs I was painting for my Battletech Intro games project. This time a Panther and a Catapult.

My favorite disney animated movie is probably Treasure Planet, and while it kinda sucks that it flopped super hard one silver lining of that is they're probably not going to try and ruin it with a live action adaptation like they're doing with the others.

Looking at the new detachment for LoV and it seems fun with some interesting tricks, but a decent amount of its buffs seem bizarrely situational? It almost seems like after the backlash to the faction in 9th ed GW is kind of walking on eggshells with rule updates for them.

Is it just me or does the new LoTR character model GW showed off kinda look like a fantasy version of the Boss from MGS3? Maybe it's just the white horse and the outfit but I feel like you could just paint the hair blonde and it would be a dead ringer.

Started playing STALKER 2 and it's been everything I wanted it to be, it just feels like the first one in all the right ways. Very happy to see that the magic is still there.

After playing LoV in 40k and Squats in Necro one thing that never ceases to fill me with mirth is how easy it is to hide them behind cover because of how short they are. And how much it tantalizes your opponents when they're completely hidden by what should only be a chest high wall.

Been a rough week, but I did recently finish four 5000BV lances for four different factions for Battletech that I can hopefully use to strongarm people into playing the game with me. Hope everyone is staying safe out there.
