Getting the replacement wi-fi card for my laptop that died on me, only to open it back up & realize I didn't notice two wires connecting it to the board....and I have no solder equipment/exp. Now I gotta pay like $80 to have it installed. It's never ending😔But it'd be good to have as a back-up...

Working on another stand in character, in case I want to feature multiple characters in art for adopts and such...I have a fox, so might as well get a wolf, too! Thinking I may release this one on Ko-Fi once I'm done with them. Should be soon if so. Codenaming him "Wulfy" ;P

I finally got my old SSD back from the manufacturer and despite saying they were going to repair it, just sent me a new one...after like 2+ weeks of waiting...not even the same capacity. I lose like whole terabyte.... I didn't think to take a picture, so I have no proof either 😔

Made a new account for the nsfw refs of the adopts & just anything that is too much for here. Think it's best to keep stuff separate for those who don't care to see! Won't be deleting anything here, but going forward. If you're interested @smashnafterdark.bsky.social May be something new there...

I think it's funny how the rendered animations total to around 9GB in size, but the actual file for the adopt's model is only 170MB... Those dang image files, eating up my storage!

Doing some last minute rig tweaks and I forgot to do the most important thing...

I always think I double check things before hitting render...only to find a frame out of place, or a prop popping in that I thought I disabled...at least it's not too much to rerender. Could have been worse. Haha

He's a little bashful... Both animations are just about done....fixing a few errors and compiling! Then a ref... Should have this guy up for adopt soon!

I always go into animating like "I'll have it done in a day and render the day after" and then I spend half the day trying to animate licking, because it's suddenly become a foreign concept.

Does anyone know any good gaming laptops that have the physical buttons on the trackpad? In the end I need to get a new one for work & can't seem to find what I want. I ordered one, but they shipped a different model w/o the buttons & don't have one with them...or am I screwed.

Hearing your work laptop may not be fixable is a bit concerning.... especially amidst the price gouging going on in the market.....

My laptop's wifi adapter has been giving me so much grief... constantly disconnecting needing restarts and now causing bluescreens... gonna try and get it looked at, cause I'm out of ideas...and need to work on it....

Rendering an animation and it was gonna be 37 secs per frame which was gonna take like 5 hours...but with a little bit of "ain't no way" I got it down to 18 secs per frame. More bearable at least...
