ESPN reporting that MLB suspended Phillies reliever Jose Alvarado for violation of drug policy. Out for 80 games and ineligible for post-season. This is 2nd drug suspension in NL East (after Braves’ Jurickson Profar). I really hope our Mets are playing clean.

On vacation in Florida and saw “Anora” today. As I’m sobbing at the final scene, the guy next to me loudly says, “That sucked!” The women next to him reply, “Yeah, I kept waiting for something to happen and nothing did.” OPEN. THE. SCHOOLS!!!
