Well I guess say hi to my new rescue! This cute 5 legged yellow sac #spider legit WAVED ME DOWN last night. It had a tiny grey V shaped butt, so I scooped it, gave it water. When it's butt was full and yellow, gave a mealworm hahaha Seems to be okay, almost... happy? Hasn't let go at all today lol

I'm tearing down the summer solar lights, to store away nicely this year (no talking about last year, shuush), and discovered that little tiny spiders having been using the battery chambers to molt inside! Each of six lights had between 1 and 4 molt hammocks! Too cute!

Another instant home builder! My new C. darlingi kept climbing up my transfer bottle XD They are fast! She had a starter burrow, but with better skills than I she's building a side-wall burrow. Brown on brown, so photos might always be a bit blurry, but this is ✨Twilight Sparkle✨!

A friend of mine's tarantula (B. hamorii) just molted, and is still a juvie so only about 2" DLS. Then suggested they needed to know how to determine sex of their little one, and my autism activated FULLY and I lost about 2 hours of my day showing pictures of spermathecae XD I need a nap now XD

She's not colourful as many other tarantulas, but she'll let me put a light on top of her enclosure for brighter pics. This is Vortex, my 13+ year old Tliltocatl albopilosus, or Curly Hair. Absolute pet rock, this one.

I've seen this beautiful tarantula pop up on my timeline many times now and they are gorgeous!! This critter is half male half female thus the different colors on either side. I would so love to make a plush backpack of this animal for someone
