Another instant home builder! My new C. darlingi kept climbing up my transfer bottle XD They are fast! She had a starter burrow, but with better skills than I she's building a side-wall burrow. Brown on brown, so photos might always be a bit blurry, but this is ✨Twilight Sparkle✨!

Settling in nicely and feisty! New home for 1.25" A geniculata, and she's pushed all the moss from high ground into the burrow! During transfer she defended herself honourably against my paintbrush, but I won in the end hahaha Already packs more punch than my other terrestrials This is Macks XD

A friend of mine's tarantula (B. hamorii) just molted, and is still a juvie so only about 2" DLS. Then suggested they needed to know how to determine sex of their little one, and my autism activated FULLY and I lost about 2 hours of my day showing pictures of spermathecae XD I need a nap now XD

She's not colourful as many other tarantulas, but she'll let me put a light on top of her enclosure for brighter pics. This is Vortex, my 13+ year old Tliltocatl albopilosus, or Curly Hair. Absolute pet rock, this one.

I've seen this beautiful tarantula pop up on my timeline many times now and they are gorgeous!! This critter is half male half female thus the different colors on either side. I would so love to make a plush backpack of this animal for someone

Go to the pet shop for "just a few crickets", and the perky sales associate gets me a "12 pack" instead... ...turned out to be 30 crickets of literal every size in an 8oz deli. 🤢🤮 They now live in two 20oz delis with a veggie buffets XD (dino mat not incl) #Tarantulas #SpiderLife

Smallish update! She's been buried under the cork slab for about 2-3 weeks, and has no visible openings at all. She went in at the purple circle, and dirt has piled up at the orange circle over time. These are about 6" apart, so she's got something big happening XD 💜🕷️
