Yesterday, Natalie from our campaigns team attended an event at the Senedd in Cardiff hosted by @animallawfdn.bsky.social on enforcement challenges. Great to hear from people working to improve how laws are put into practice. We will keep pushing for better enforcement of animal protection laws.

Today, the government has launched a DEFRA consultation on proposals to introduce a ban on trial hunting in England and Wales. We will be reviewing the aspects of the consultation today and will share our further views and guidance over the coming days.
