Now that school has started, it's finally hit me that my eldest is a senior and will be going away to college next year. It's an understatement to say I'm not ready for this.

The kids usually aren't into movies but they both wanted to see Superman, so we went last night. We all enjoyed it immensely; it delivered heart, heroism, and (of course, coming from James Gunn) humor. Highly recommended if you didn't care for the grimdark Snyderverse.

My right eyelid has been twitching on and off for the last couple months. I finally took to Google to see what might be causing it; the top two culprits are “lack of sleep” and “too much stress.” In other words, this is my life now.

I may think that a lot of things suck right now, but my thirteen-year-old and I spent a chunk of last night doing karaoke to YouTube lyric videos, so it ain't all bad.
