“Do not be angry with me!” A small pout began to form, hoping the sight would ease his disappointment. “You light up when talking about it. I like that for you.” She smiled. “The people of New York are lucky to have you.”

She got cookies! Totally didn’t buy them and plate them liked she made them. Nope, totally didn’t do that.

Her head shook to confirm she hadn’t heard anything before the news has a brow raising and her blue eyes trailing up and down him, trying to picture him in the suit. “Oh? That would be quite the sight to see. Have you been enjoying it?”

Ororo munched on a piece of toast as her eyes stayed trained on him. “Then who will I spend all my time with?” Now it was her turn to be dramatic, a faux frown tugging at her lips. “And please do enlighten me on this new ‘gig’?”

A warm smile spreads over her lips at the blonde before a portal opened and in the younger woman went, coming back out with just what she needed. “You are incredible.” She smiled as she took the cup, taking a careful much needed sip. “I will be sure to return the favor, just say the word.”

“I noticed.” She nodded, nails tapping against her cup. “I am back to teach my class.” She let out a hearty laugh. Her break was more of a night off that she was regretting now. “…Top three favorite.” She bumped up his ranking as she tucked into her breakfast. “Are you staying this time?”

“I know.” She let out a little chuckle. She had no intention of taking her caffeine, she obviously wanted it. “If there is coffee ready then I will be grateful for a cup. If not, please do not go through any trouble to make it.” She would just have to get off her butt and make it herself.

His dramatics bring a giggle from her and she nods, enjoying his little performance. “I would need something more substantial than coffee to be number one.” She teased in a playful tone. Standing to grab the cream and sugar. “Hmm about two or so this morning. How’d you know I was gone?”

Her hands fell from her face at the sound of her name on his lips, “Kurt,” she smiled despite her lack of energy. She took the cup and took a much needed — yet careful — sip. She’d add cram and sugar in a sec. “You have been upgraded to one of my top five favorite people. Thank you, dear.”
