Sometimes people ask me what the big deal is about Jack Kirby. And I show them these two covers for the same story. The one on the left is by Gil Kane and Bernard Sachs, 1956. The one on the right is by Nick Cardy, 1973. The thing that happened in between? Jack Kirby.

This Hourman by Tony Harris reminds me that Hourman is one of my absolute favorite characters and I would love a solid miniseries

I love Alan Moore scripts because it always feels like a letter to a friend and collaborator. This one is fascinating because he does not himself like this story.
