Playing Elden Ring for the first time. It's a genre of games I really love (souls like) and though I love it now, I almost bounced off it at the beginning. My choice to forgoe a shield after playing DS 1-3 using them has been a huge change! I love the paired swords, but I really wish I could block!

I've run a #D&D game for the kiddo for the three years previous, and this year my wife decided to join in. Its the biggest and longest one I've ran in a day, and I am getting better at building one-shot dungeons. Getting to hang out with my family playing D&D on fathers day makes me very happy.

Being a slow, patient painter who doesn't enjoy cutting corners and paints for the enjoyment of it - not simply to get it on the table - has made it very frustrating to enjoy playing miniatures games much anymore. Getting, or even progressing, on a complete army isn't feasible. So I left the hobby.

Ive spent time over the last week reorganizing my #mtg collection -getring rid of "more than a playset", etc. And. I think I want to reorganize them into a better system. Ugh. by-color-by-set has served so far, with blocks now vanished and infinite sets, I think I should just alphabetize

Unlike the previous giants, this one is absolutely miserable to paint. The pose, sculpt and quality are all questionable.
