Currently photographing the 16 homes I have lived in for my same-titled hybrid memoir book due out in Fall from Wolsak & Wynn. This was my first apartment in Burnaby, 1988 (yes I was a teenager). It's still exactly the same but I bet rent is about 2000 now not 365 ;)

(continued from prior post!) The cover is by the fantastic Calgarian artist Stacey Walyuchow. This book was also long listed for the Al Purdy and Robert Kroetsch prizes. And is the precursor text, in a sense, to my next book due out this Fall from Wolsak & Wynn, a hybrid-memoir called 16 Homes :)

For those of you who missed it, this is my most recent collection of poems, out in 2024 from Freehand Books! It's about buying a 1905 house and moving from Vancouver to Edmonton, and itinerancy/settling, a bit of grief, many strived-for gardens, provincial touring and midlife :)

A true and deep performer with the most immense energy I've ever seen over a 3 plus hour show. We can only hope to strive towards such belief in the intensity of language and song to transcend all.
