#GH is taking steps to right a big wrong by laying the groundwork for Valentin and potentially Charlotte to move back into Wyndemere. That castle should have never been left to a thug-of-the-month in Sidwell, entertaining as he might be. They need more Cassadines, but this would be a good start.

I’d just like to point out that Audrey was one of the single worst judges of character for anyone in Elizabeth’s life, especially when it came to men. If the argument is that Sonny gets too much coddling, then yes. But Audrey’s opinion, especially off-screen, still doesn’t mean much to me. #GH

Story I heard once: my grandfather officiated a middle-of-the-night wedding. The fellow asked how much he should pay him. “Whatever you think she’s worth,” he said. The fellow reached into his pocket and handed him a $1 bill. My grandfather reached into his own pocked and pulled out 50 cents.

This has been my chief complaint with Sonny (and obviously Carly too). It’s do as I say, not as I do. Sonny always needs an enemy, which fit with Jax, Alcazar, and even Jagger. Recent examples (Nikolas, the other character RoHo played, now Valentin) felt and feel too forced. #GH

I can’t take Sonny or these writers seriously when they have him telling Carly that Valentin is the worst mistake she’s ever made. Not when she was happily screwing Franco and ready to marry him. Just a goofy line to write. #GH

I caught a few minutes of GMA3 awhile back. He’s very natural in that spot. Engages with the guests, asks the soft questions, pretends to laugh at all the right moments. It’s what he should be doing for ABC. Natural element.

I thought John Oliver was great on #GH for what he was brought on for. He didn’t feel forced and didn’t look out of place, which… more than I can say for some of the actual actors they hire and put on contract. Fun little visit by him.

I don’t know how others feel, but I think the John Oliver stuff is mostly harmless fun. It’s only 3 episodes, and he seems like a genuine fan of the show. As far as stunt-casting goes, there are no less than a dozen people from ABC primetime promos alone that would make me cringe before him. #GH

Coolest thing in a while: parked next to a guy in a black 80s Firebird Trans Am. My mom (obsessed with Burt Reynolds) had one from that era and it had that stripe on it. No pictures, just two people talking cars. He later told me about a nearby antique car show I should check out on July 4.

Today’s mood: Day 3 with no air condition and it’s 94° outside.

This is just me, but I think BLQ needs a serious, long overdue rest. Off-screen. A Maxie recast isn’t for me, either; Serena is already headed to town. The more BLQ is on every day and involved in so many stories, the more I’m reminded she is THE most miscast actor on #GH with Mansi finally gone.

I am once again falling asleep while thinking of Kenny Rogers saying that the best that you can hope for is to die in your sleep.

AC has been out for almost 48 hours now. The guy working on it left around 12:30 and hasn’t called or come back since then. How hard is it to just fucking communicate instead of disappearing? 😑

Today’s mood: three straight days waking up with a headache and less than four hours of sleep.

One of the best scenes from any series was the Cheers finale with that bittersweet last call. Sam Malone standing alone in the bar, thinking back on the last 11 years of his life and getting slighlty choked up before saying: “I’m the luckiest son of a bitch on Earth.” Worthy of all the tributes. 🍻
