My son has been wanting to DM a D&D campaign for a long time. We now have a place and a table adequate to host it so he has been working on it again. Here is the first 3-D printed piece for his campaign. It is part of the ship printed and Wood PLA.

I have the black pieces of a chess set printing on one printer and part of a dnd model that is a ship printing on the other printer...that makes me happy.

my arm is on the right side of healing I think however at the moment it looks like I have a burn scar running from almost wrist to just short of my elbow. Wondering if my arm will be permanently discolored like my leg was...that'll be fun.

Took apart my extruder assembly in search of busted gears (possibly) only to find that everything looked totally normal. Put it all back together and ran a calibration again and I guess we will see what happens.

Tomorrow/today? is tattoo day and though they are going to be small, I am excited nonetheless

🤞Might have a good model for the T1000 mount. Still might have issues with the prop clearance but we'll see. I also remembered to SAVE the project so I can edit it rather than start over. I also made the connection points stronger due to what I've learned. Now we print and wait.

Found out today that my doctor has access to moderately priced (by comparison) GLP-1s but unfortunately it’s still way more than I can afford. :/ 🤷🏻‍♂️

Thanks to a late in the day Dr appt I get to start the weekend a little early and if it weren’t for Amazon deliveries almost always being late I would be getting to play with an fpv drone but instead I’ll fly my normal drone I guess lol.

Finally circled back to this only to not realize until after I printed it that 1. I didn’t save the project - again 2. I used the wrong base but it sort of worked and 3. The slicer didn’t show it but there’s a gap between one of the columns and the T1000 holder. Getting closer.

Based on some preliminary tests yesterday (in prep for my new tattoos and the “second skin”) it seems I might not be allergic to adhesive any longer? The human body is so fucking strange.
