Its wild encountering 'true believer' bigots in the wild. People who seem to genuinely believe insane things about other groups of people they've never even met. And they seem shocked whenever someone points out how awful they are being. As if they truly believe they are doing good? Weird.

People who declare "slow and steady" when it comes to improving the lives of people are class traitors who are far too comfortable. You can be sure if it was their rights on the line they'd want fast action - they just don't want to help you or anyone else bar themselves. YCNCMM.

Ever notice when Fascists try to trick people into agreeing with them by listing reasonable concerns but sneaking in a bit of bigotry in the middle? They hope you won't notice, but that's the majority of their messaging. And a non-fascist doesn't need to repeatedly moan about being called one.

The US military exists to keep Americans down. The overseas conflicts are just training missions. The oligarchs are so afraid of its own citizens they spend more then the rest of the world combined on this.

The real winner of the last few days of chaos - social media. Facebook especially must be having one of the best engagement numbers they've ever seen.

Imagine being a woman and supporting fascism. Do they think they'll be spared, or do they enjoy being persecuted? Or are they even real, not a fake profile? Its hard to tell.

Quick test to show how serious someone who claims "trans people aren't losing any rights" (or similar): ask if they'd like to be treated the way trans folk are. Most of the time, if they understand the question, they'll get very defensive.

Occasionally I'm reminded that I surround myself with intelligent people when I stray out of my bubble and get exposed to the rest of society. And the bar never ceases to be lowered. Having to explain to someone what 'profits' and 'customers' mean isn't something I expected to have to do today.
