I got bit by macOS failing to fully support MTU 9000 on 1Gb links again. This time on macOS Tahoe with ssh/scp and nfs client. SSH will drop connection after multiple files being transferred, NFS will just fail to mount. I change the MTU back to 1500 and everything starts working again. #macadmins

FileVault can now be unlocked over ssh after a restart if Remote Login is enabled and a network connection is available. More information is available on the apple_ssh_and_filevault manual page. https://support.apple.com/en-us/124963

Don't forget, #macos26 will automatically turn on Filevault for you on all devices! So if you have any "Servers" that are headless, you can turn them off or setup SSH to put in the Filevault password on on boot. #macadmins
