🇩🇪 Conti Transfer Thread 2026 Now that we get to know the first signings for 2026 I will try and gather them in a thread & give my two cents & thoughts for those interested. Same as the last years basically! Expect the thread to fill towards the end of the year, it's still early.

Tobias Müller is having a really good week so far. After a bit of a slower start he is getting his chances with the new team now and seems to grab them with both hands. Couple more opportunities coming up this week at Dunkerque too

Thüringen will host the 🇩🇪 National Road Championships in 2026. The ITTs will be held in Streufdorf and the road race on a very hilly 27km loop around Bad Liebenstein (via Steinbach, Brotterode, Brotterode-Trusetal). No info yet if there will be any TV coverage.

Pretty great ride by Rondel today which positions him well into the fight for a potential Top 5. Exceeded my ecxpectations! Further down the order, Markel Beloki is continuing his good Giro as well and could target a Top 15 placing while hunting for stage wins.

Oskar Doberschütz won yesterday's Junior Rad-Bundesliga race in Waldburg. In a big bunch sprint he beat Raul Esch (German Junior Racing) and Luis Hoyler (MTB Teck). Doberschütz is an interesting sprinter talent in his first year. Leon Resag (5th) is the new Bundesliga leader. 📸 Team Neo-Solutions

Great race so far. Both for pink and the stage win. Aular, Narvaez, Ciccone, Raccagni Noviero, Engelhardt, Valgren, LVE, Ulissi or a sneaky Christen attack? On to a very open final few kms

Sad to see the Men's team go. Was a good launchpad for French talent, specially those non-U23s that took a bit longer to develop and make that jump to the pros. Hopefully with fully concentrating on the women's team they remain be a stable presence over the next few years.

Fantastic day out there for the German Junior Women at Gent-Wevelgem! Edda Bieberle continues her run of impressive results, Amandine Jakob with a real breakout performance and Klara Dworatzek rounds it off with a Top 10. Sketchy final with only Pichon attentive enough and thus securing a big win.

Eike Behrens wins the Erzgebirgsrundfahrt and continues his breakout season. He defends the Rad-Bundesliga lead and won ahead of local Patrick Reißig (Benotti-Berthold) and Julian Borresch (Rembe rad-net). Karl Hall in 6th as an amateur with an interesting result! 📸Lotto Kern-Haus

5th in his first international race for Bike Aids Nahom Efriem! He was 11th at last years Junior Worlds and had trouble coming over to Europe earlier this year. And Belohvosciks also continues his great run with a 3rd place. Great day out for Bike Aid.

Promising signs for Evita Muzic today. Would be nice to see her up there in GC again after a slow start to the season. Still just two years since she battled with Vollering at the Vuelta and even won a stage.

Boothman has been absulte class all year. Such a great talent both on the road and track and seemingly no problems transitioning out of Junior into the Elite ranks. Another great race by Magdalena Leis as well. Very active in the final. Bit too much maybe but still learning in her first Elite year.

Very impressive race overall by both Albert Withen Philipsen & Luke Tuckwell at Romandie. Especially for Tuckwell this was a huge step-up and with some of the more experienced climbers/GC riders leaving the team he could slot into an important climbing domestique role next year already.

Stephanie Meder continues her great race & wins the Gracia Orlová TT. Also the Wheel Divas first UCI win as a Conti team. Meder has a big engine, is a good climber & came late to cycling. Races like Gracia are great for her development. Goldschmidt & Tulowitzki with top results too! 📸Firstcycling

Incredible ride by Lennart Jasch to take the win from the break. Peloton not making it a GC stage certainly helped but still this will hopefully give him a pro-contract for 2027. Nice to see changing Dev teams and further pursuing a pro career seems to be paying off for him.

Very good race by MAT ATOM's Sofia Ungerova today. Making front splits and finishing 15th in the end. A very promising Junior, always a bit overshadowed by Chladonová. Surely a WWT rider sooner or later. Same for Brit Noemie Thomson. Still very raw, but showing promise once again.

Great team performance by Lotto-Kern Haus putting 3 riders in what is now effectively a race of 29 riders making the two front splits. Huppertz his usual reliable self + Morang & Koech strong. Ed Uptegrove is a name to remember after his start to the season. He should have interest by bigger teams.

Very good 6th place for Paul Fietzke at Youngster Coast Challenge, the first big U23 race of the year. Was out all day in the break that always was within 1-minute of the peloton but held on and fought for the win. Nice to see Pavel Sumpik on the podium and progressing after a hard first U23 year.

Sign of the times when big, well organized and supported Junior teams have budgets of 500.000€, which is well more than some of the German Conti teams. Team did a good job supporting Mauss last year, hopefully Karstedt, Esch, Bell can follow this year!
