I keep making sweet potatoes in different ways in hopes this time I will like them. That plan isn't working. I have 9 sweet potatoes to go.

I have come to realize that a certain group of folks wholeheartedly believe they are and should be the exception. Not only is it infuriating to have to live in society with these people, they are simply insufferable.

This is the project I knit before bed. No gauge swatch. I am too far in to give up even tho I can see the train wreck in progress. I won't even get into how many times I messed up the cables. But!! This is a yrn busting project. I have two skeins of each color. No fears or yrn chicken yet.

I take a sleeping pill to stay asleep. It has worked somewhat. The past three nights I have only woken up, maybe, once during the night. What's different? Progesterone. This entire fucking time I just needed my hormones to be balanced. The rage I feel that it was this simple all along.

I have been on a health kick, bc everything else is fucked up in my life, but I can decide what I eat. I am also 40+ without chirren. And on this side of parenting, I can say wholeheartedly, FUCK THEM KIDS. FUCK 'EM. Don't blend a goddamn veg to sneak it in, especially if you like it.

It has been well over an hr. I went to check on my thawed pizza dough... Like, I took it out of the freezer yesterday. Today, it was cold to the touch, so I figured an hr+ or so proofing in a semi-warm oven would start the process. It would start to double in size. I might have pizza tomorrow.

My son's vote was not counted in the last election bc he had not signed the selective service paperwork. He refuses to sign it. His logic, which is valid, if they won't draft me, then why have me sign it anyway? In 2025, do I blame him? NOPE. But this means he'll never be allowed to vote.

I guess my theme for the week is pissed off and annoyed.

For the past year, I have wanted a crochet stitch that looks like knitting cables. After doing this sample, I have changed my mind. If I want cables, I'll just knit them. This was too hard. Pass.

A few days ago, I was taking a break from my walk. I was sitting at the bus stop. A white guy in his late 20s/early 30s--giving relaxed Morman--asked me, "Can I have some meth?" Whatever expression I had, along w/replying, what made him ask *me*, let the backsliding Morman skedaddle away.
