my personal most unwatched Lynch film

truly well done and miserable movie making of the highest quality. the face smashing scene still fucks with me to this day after 1 viewing. will never watch again.

opening scene alone makes it a 1 watch film

2 movies about magnificent horses dying.

i mean.. its ambitious. gotta give it that.

this movie can in fact be amazing on the right night. it can also be very, very annoying on the wrong one.

huh.i have watched brazil 100s of times & if you think crimes of the future is the definitive cronenberg film you have missed a lot. unless you mean future cronenberg films which is more forgivable but nah he deserves the benefit of the doubt forever. he swings and misses sometimes but he earned it.

i have a friend who watches it regularly and its the most alarming thing about him. great guy, shows no other signs of psychopathy, but how can i ever fully trust him? how can i not be a little scared?

oh damn so he just used it no clearance? i knew i didnt like that dude who made that movie with the 22 seconds to pluto guy about the old woman smoking meth and marlon waynes going to jail or whatever i forget. it was hard to watch.

i think influence in art isn’t always conscious and ideas can seep through culture in to your overall taste and perspective unknowingly but also motherfuckers steal and don’t credit because they want to be geniuses who’s ideas just hatched out of their special, unique ether that rarely exists so 🤷‍♂️
