I feel bad. I was leaving a friend’s house, walking to my car, and was carrying my lovely/infamous “Walmès Wirkin”. Two people walked by and i could literally see their eyes pop. I am so sorry. I am just as fake as my fake bag.

I wish I were good at something that matters AND makes half-decent money.

Today, I am going to read a book and try to learn something new. In today’s world, this seems like a small act of protest.

The privilege of freshly washed sheets on my own bed. I am grateful that I can enjoy this simple pleasure tonight.

Letting go isn’t necessarily about giving up or defeat. It is realizing that something has served its purpose and needs to be set free to make room for something else to enter our lives.

My Pug and I are well matched. We are both chunky weirdos that are highly food motivated. We also like a good nap in the middle of the day.

I’m tucked up in bed with my boxed set of “Murder She Wrote” DVDs. It is dark and stormy outside. I am in my happy place.

My Pug, Enzo, has developed a new “quirk”. He is insisting on taking his nylabone everywhere. He just carries it proudly and shows everyone he meets.

It has nearly been a year since you passed, my sweet boy. I still miss the way we watched TV in the evenings, like in this picture. My first Pug, and certainly not my last. Your loving and funny Pug ways captured my heart. Pugs are my dogs for life.

I don’t post on here much. I do scroll through others’ posts in this app daily. I don’t know, I guess I’m making this post to say - “I’m still here 🙂”.
