I've been waiting a long time for this moment. This is a full documentary on King K. Rool, his character, his boss fights, and his fall from grace along with the DK series. But more importantly, it is the story of how DK's fanbase rallied to make a series in limbo shine again under one jolly roger.

So cool seeing all these backgrounds fully developed! I did a lot of work refining the look of the speakeasy from the original pilot, and the bg artists did a great job bringing it to life

I animated a crotch bulge for the first time because I thought it made the scene funnier. And I was right, it did make the scene funnier. I also finally finalized this scene, which means I finished a whole music video in 4 months, a new record!

Anybody whose smarter with After Effects then I am know if there's a simple way to blur a layer without blurring the matte? Like so that it's just the interior colors that get blurred.

Any of you guys ever make get a small acrylic standee made of an character illustration? Like an acrylic charm but it stands upright. Do you have any services you recommend that do that?

I want to update my demo reel on bluesky, but it won't let me upload video, it just gives me this message: detected file format () is not supported (video/mp4, video/mpeg, video/webm, video/quicktime, image/gif) Anyone know the issue? The video is 1:20 and 55mb, no file type seems to work

Whenever people say a show has "lazy" animators I tell them the story of when my colleagues and I were working hard on a tv show, and after the first 6 episodes the execs reduced the amount of time we had to make an episode from 5 weeks to 4 because they "didn't need it to look that good".

Question for storyboard artists out there. Do you ever charge different rates for doing just thumbnails as opposed to polished boards. Like if you knew going in that quick scribbly/gesture drawings were fine and you didn't have to do line weight, shading, on model drawings?

This was probably my favorite shot to figure out, even if it was the most time consuming to put together. I really liked the idea of both parties being on opposite sides of the ice and flipping upside down to illustrate it. The challenge was making a matte painting that worked with that idea.
