The Senators have scored just two five-on-five goals in four preseason games after finishing 31st in the league in five-on-five goals last season per @naturalstattrick.com. Not too concerned because it is the preseason, but they need to improve that metric if they're going to make noise.

Senators outshot the Leafs 7-1 when the Tkachuk-Stutzle-Giroux line was on the ice (87.5 CF%). 12-11 (52.2 CF% when they were off). Ahead in the shot, scoring chance, and expected goal metrics, but are down 3-0 after the 1st period. Leafs scored on all their chances.
