In case you missed it: a new show will run daily in the Efteling Theater from April 3 to November 8. It is included in the park ticket, and the upcharge CARO show will still play on evenings. It will be non-verbal, so maybe we will manage to understand what’s going on. 🌙

Big changes in the Fairytale Forest 🍄 The Chinese Nightingale will close on March 8 before being reimagined and returning in a new form. A new fairy tale will make its appearance in 2027, becoming the 32nd tale: The Fairytale Library. 📚 Work starts March 9, 2026.

After 26 years, the Chinese Nightingale will close permanently, but it will soon return to the Fairytale Forest in a brand-new form. 🪶 A new fairytale about a magical storybook library is also on the way. 📚

The last performance of the current Raveleijn show will take place on January 4, the new show and ride will open on December 1st, 2026. ⚔️

With the summer season behind us (🥲❄️), a lot of work is currently underway at Efteling. In Marerijk, Villa Volta is receiving some well-deserved care and will reopen on October 11. 🐐

French park Puy du Fou is looking for co-workers to build a new project at Efteling until 2027. This corroborates rumors of a walkthrough Raveleijn replacement, as this show is already managed by Puy du Fou and they already created several walkthrough attractions in their parks.

A Piraña album has just been released on music platforms. It features queue line music and also a different version heard near the first two water gods of the course. 🌊

Danse Macabre is unexpectedly closed for a few days due to technical difficulties. It is currently set to reopen on Monday 28. 🐈‍⬛

Efteling is installing new directional signs. They hope to make the 6 "kingdoms" easier to understand by painting them in the kingdom's color, as well as adding transition signs when you walk from one to the other.🪧

Efteling just unveiled new details about Mystique, the premium Restaurant-Bar located on the first floor of Efteling Grand Hotel: 🧑🏼‍🍳 Chef Teun van Berlo will be the Head Chef of Mystique 🕔 Opens daily from 5:00pm (last seating 8:30pm) 👧 Recommend minimum age: 9 years old.

Today was the last day to see the Charlatans show in front of Danse Macabre. It has been performed daily since November 2022 and evolved with the construction of the ride and the gradually revealed backstory. Congrats to everyone involved! 👏
