Some shade-seeking animals might be harder to see on sunny days, but a hot day is great for reptile-spotting (especially red-spotted reptile-spotting). This Madagascar giant day gecko (Phelsuma grandis) is very active at the moment. Remember to look up if you visit; many reptiles are arboreal.
