Yesterday I ran the Asics blue jean mile. 1 mile all out in blue jeans. So why not go full denim instead. Finished in 7 min 40 sec in 90 degree heat.

Twas a little warm on yesterday's run but got it done and hit the paces

I love running in the rain. Its so refreshing.

Great first run back since Tokyo. Legs were begging to move.

I did the hardest thing I've ever done on sunday. Trained for, started, and finished the chicago marathon.

Followed up Saturday's personal best with another one on Sunday. Half Marathon (13.1 miles) under 2 hours. Finished in 1 hour 57 minutes 44 seconds.

Finally hit a goal I set for the year. Official 5k time under 25 minutes. 24:57 today. Half marathon tomorrow followed by the Chicago Marathon next week.

This is what finishing 19 miles looks like. Training is going well for Chicago.

Been running a lot. Training has even picked up and I’m going 20-30 miles a week. I feel great

It was a double run day on Monday. First speed intervals for an hour then I nice easy almost 4 miles

Set out to do 10 miles and finished at 13.1. Today was about proving to myself I can do hard things. These are tears of joy and pride.

Not where I want to be yet but making progress. Just happy I’ve been cleared to run and can do so with no pain.

A little recovery after PT whooped my ass today.

Been down sick for a week and was on limited workouts before that. Felt good to be able to rain/train again.

Knowing your status is sexy. Am I the only that hates having to poke their finger? It takes me like 15 minutes to do it.

It came today. I didn’t know putting this shirt on would make me so emotional. Yeah I get to run the Chicago marathon but I am doing it for something bigger than me.
