Oh what a difference temperature makes. You can see the pitcher in the back formed in warmer temperatures when the plant was growing large leaves and smaller, less colorful pitchers. The one in the front is the normal cool weather pitcher. N. RBV x V 'Candy Apple'

Update on N. veitchii (m) bario (giant x squat) EP: this plant is producing near upper pitchers on the main vine and has two nice sized basal plants.

Too cold for the plants to go outside this week. Here are some nice pitchers in the plant room: N. veitchii x platychila and N. lowii x campanulata, N. ventricosa seed grown, N. ventricosa [c] EP, N. (ventricosa x sibuyanensis) x flava EP

N. ventricosa denver x [(ventricosa x sibuyanensis} x TM]: picked this up at a potting demo with Carnivero at the Texas Carnivorous plant show in May. Starting to look pretty promising.

I purchased this plant years ago as a no id plant. I am pretty certain that it is N. maxima x robcantleyi. It is very vigorous and produces very sturdy pitchers. Pardon the terrible lighting - too cold to take it out in the sun.

Thing 1, 2 &3: Nepenthes noid hitchikers are growing up. They came from Carnivero, and I am pretty certain they are N. (truncata x campanulata) x veitchii

N. mollis (aka hurrelliana) AW is progressing nicely

Lots of new veitchii pitchers starting to inflate, but these two are early openers. This N. veitchii (Akazukin x Bareo striped) flower stalk is progressing nicely. Some veitchii crosses and other hybrids on the way. N. veitchii bario BE-3734 and N. veitchii (#5 x "Pink Candy Cane") CAR-0102

N. hamata (Tambusisi x Lumut) BE-4044 has four basal plants now. The main vine was about 6 feet long, but I was clumsy and broke it - hopefully some rooted cuttings from that soon. It still has the second vine that is about 3 feet long.

N. clipeata AW clone 16-03 is really growing fast now. It even has a good sized basal.

Nepenthorgy - something in the air has a bunch of my Nepenthes blooming - 8 males and 3 females with two female blooms already pollenated. Females include: (veitchii x lowii) x platy, rob x ( sib x vent) and vogelli.
